Eliza and Waldo Jones family and genealogical papers
Eliza Jones accumulated this collection to document the genealogy of her extended families as well that of her husband, Waldo Jones. Materials include correspondence that documents her daily life and views, financial records, scrapbooks, newspaper clippings, and diaries. The collection also contains papers from her and Waldo Jones's extended family. Families represented include the Woolford, Grant, Slaton, Harris, Fitz-Randolph, Martin, Waldo, Winslow, Felder, and Jackson families.
Emily Jane Winkler Bealer diary
This collection contains Emily Jane Winkler Bealer's diary in which she reflects on domestic life as an impoverished widow during Reconstruction in Atlanta. Topics include raising and educating her children, financial and business affairs, and social and church life. The collection also includes a typed transcript and biographical notes written by Bealer's great-granddaughter, Emily Bealer Calhoun II. These notes contain research on people and businesses referenced in the diary.

George Barnard's Photographic Views of Sherman's Campaign
The collection contains 22 prints of Barnard’s photographs as he traveled with General Sherman's United States Army. Battlegrounds featured in the collection include Kennesaw, Atlanta, Resaca, Allatoona, and Chattanooga, Tennessee. The prints were included in a larger collection published in Photographic Views of Sherman's Campaign.
George Hewitt Daniel civil war correspondence
George T. Willson letter
This collection contains a letter from George T. Willson to his sister. The letter discusses the weather in Atlanta; his work escorting citizens out of Atlanta, per General Sherman's removal order; and Lincoln's chances of being re-elected president and Confederate soldiers' thoughts on the election. He also discussed Colonel Ketcham's leadership abilities and reputation in the regiment.
Georgia State Guard general order
The Georgia State Guard document consists of General Order #18, appointing Surgeon E. J. Eldridge as Chief Surgeon of the Georgia State Guard. The order, dated December 1, 1863 was issued by command of Major General Howell Cobb, and signed by R. J. Hallett, A. A. (Acting Assistant) General.

Henri (Henrietta Irene) Horrell poems
This collection contains two poems written by Henri Horrell about the Civil War. There is a typed and a hand written copy of "Grand-Pa's Story," which is about the Battle of Chancellorsville. In addition, there is a typed copy of "Who'll Know the Blue from the Gray," as well as a copy of the periodical Blue and Gray: the Patriotic American magazine from February 1884, in which Horrell published her poem.

John Keely Civil War letter and scrapbook
This collection contains a letter from Captain John Keely to John Ryan of Atlanta about the health of Captain Keely and news of friends. The collection also contains a scrapbook of newspaper articles about Keely and a diary he wrote while serving in the Confederate Army during the Civil War.
John S. T. Hall papers
This collection contains military records, genealogies, and photocopies of family records written inside a bible. Of particular interest is Hall's diary (1863-1865), which contains financial records, notes, and a copy of a letter from his future wife. Also included are copies of John S. T. Hall's records in a Confederate Roll of Prisoners of War, and a copy of Hall's appointment as a notary public in 1875.
Joshua M. Mitchell collection
This collection contains photocopies of Civil War documents of Joshua M. Mitchell, including furlough papers; list of persons at Johnson's Island prison in Ohio, requisition papers, service records, appointment papers; a marriage contract of Joshua Mitchell and V. T. Rundle; poems, death notices of Thomas H. Mitchell and Ruth Mitchell; list of children of Thomas and Ruth Mitchell; and letters from the Department of Confederate Pension and Records.
